Ye Admits To Domestic Abuse Amid Rant About Diddy, Drake, And Kendrick Lamar
Ye’s latest rant was already crazier than any before due to his praise for Hitler, the admission that he was a Nazi, and his defense of Diddy — but it took a darker turn over the weekend. The 47-year-old rapper admitted to domestic abuse while discussing Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
The Chicago producer pointed out how the Bad Boy founder was behind bars for his sexual misconduct allegations while K. Dot was performing at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show despite having assault allegations of his own. Amid all that, he took the time to tell on himself perhaps without considering the repercussions. “LET ME START BY SAYING. I HAVE HIT WOMEN BEFORE,” he wrote on X.
“DRAKE SAID KENDRICK HIT HIS GIRL. BUT THAT IS NOT RECORDED ON TAPE LIKE THE PUFF VIDEO. I AM IN LA RIGHT NOW AT THE 4 SEASONS. I AM RISKING MY LIFE TO TWEET THIS. SO WALK WITH ME. DRAKE SAYS KENDRICK HIT HIS QUEEN. THE WORLD SEES PUFF HIT CASSIE. KENDRICK IS AT THE SUPERBOWL. PUFF IN IN JAIL.” At one point, he even shared a screenshot from the video of Diddy assaulting Cassie in 2016.
Ye went on to call out the culture for being inconsistent in who they hold to the fire and whose transgressions they overlook. “THEY PICK WHICH NI**AS THEY WANT TO PROP UP AND WHO THEY WANT TO PUT DOWN. AND WHEN THEY WANT TO,” he wrote. “BUT ALL CELEBRITIES ARE SCARED AND SELFISH. THEY(WE) SIT IN OUR MANSIONS GET EXTORTED BY OUR SO CALLED FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND BI**HES. I AM IN LA. NI**AS WILL WANT TO AND OR SUCCEED AT KILLING ME FOR THIS ONE TWEET ALONE.”
He continued by pointing out everyone who he has offended, including Black people, white people, Jewish people, and plus-sized women. “A FAT BI**H MAY TRY TO KILL ME,” he added. “IF THIS IS MY LAST DAY ON EARTH PLAY THIS IN MY MOVIE. AND PLAY THE FAT BI**H PART TOO CAUSE I’M FUNNY AND ALL YOU NI**AS IS FUNNY TO ME.”
Though screenshots of the Vultures artist’s tweets are circulating the internet, they are currently inaccessible on X because he deactivated his account for the time being.
