Woody Harrelson Made COVID Conspiracy Jokes In His Bizarre And Ramble-Y "SNL" Monologue
Last night, Woody Harrelson hosted Saturday Night Live for the fifth time. Well, his opening monologue is already causing some controversy.
In his opener, Woody told a kind of ramble-y story about how — after hosting SNL back in 2019 — he went and "smoked a joint" and "read the craziest script" the following day.
In between talking about temporarily quitting alcohol, he then pivoted to some weird anti-vax language. "So, the movie [script] goes like this: The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay locked in their homes. And people can only come out if they take the cartel’s drugs and keep taking them over and over."
Obviously, here he's referencing vaccines and quarantining measures.
