"Willie Nelson is looking forward to seeing everyone in Camden on July 4," the statement shared via social media read, further announcing, "He will not be performing in Mansfield today."
It continued: "Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, and Celisse will perform as scheduled. In addition, Lukas Nelson and Family, along with some special guests, will once again play his own set that will include Willie's classics and other songs."
Though the note was seemingly meant to let fans know the "On the Road Again" crooner is getting better, many still urged his team to provide more specific details on his health status.
"Tell us what's up with Willie Nelson already, I'm worried about the man," one top-liked comment read, while another begged, "Just let him rest ??."
Meanwhile, someone else dropped a positive note: "Glad Willie is on the mend!! But Lukas (who I have seen many times) is quite the treat to hear (sounding so much like Willie!) playing all those classics, and his own gems, too. “Stay a Little Longer” was especially happy-making! Hope everyone is enjoying these shows. ?"
As prviously reported, ahead of the Outlaw Musical Festival stop in Alpharetta, Ga., on Friday, June 21, a message shared to Nelson's social media accounts revealed that the country artist would not be taking the stage for health reasons.
"We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and, per doctor's orders, has been advised to rest for the next four days," the statement shared to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) read at the time.
