Civil War: Storyline, Plot
Written and directed by Alex Garland, Civil War is set in a dystopian alternative reality where the United States is engulfed in a brutal civil war between Loyalists and Western Forces. A group of journalists led by Lee (Kirsten Dunst) and Joel (Wagner Moura) bring on a young and inexperienced photojournalist named Jessie (Cailee Spaeny), as the group embarks on a cross-country journey to interview the president of the United States (Nick Offerman), as the Western Forces march on Washington, D.C.
The movie also stars Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sonoya Mizuno, Jefferson White, Nelson Lee, Evan Lai and Jesse Plemons.
Civil War is available to watch at home on the streaming service Max.
