‘Wheel Of Fortune’: Vanna White On Who Should Replace Her When She Retires From Game Show
Vanna White is not retiring from Wheel of Fortune soon having just extended her time on the syndicated game show. However, retiring is not out of the question and it’s something White has thought about now that host Pat Sajak is leaving.
Continuing the legacy of the Sajaks, White thinks that Maggie Sajak would be a good replacement for her once she decides to part ways with the show.

“I think she’s a good replacement if I can’t be there for some reason,” White told E! News in an interview. “She’s been around it her whole life, so I think she can fill in for me for sure.”
Maggie already has experience doing White’s job when she made an appearance on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune earlier this year uncovering letters from the puzzle board.
White added, “She’s precious, she’s beautiful, she’s very good. I think she learned a lot from her father because he’s such a good interviewer. I think she’s good for our show.”
White recently inked a new deal to return to Wheel of Fortune through the 2025-26 season which would include Sajak’s upcoming final season and Ryan Seacrest’s season debut as host.
After working with Sajak for 41 years, White says there’s a “bittersweet” feeling with the host’s departure but is looking at what is to come ahead.
“He is a kind man. He is professional. He’s good at what he does. He likes to have fun,” White said of Seacrest. “He even said to me, ‘I’m not trying to replace Pat by any means. I just want to go in and do a good job.’ So, that’s what he’s going to do and I think he’s going to be just fine.”
