West Palm Beach market that's drawn Sly Stallone, Guy Fieri, celebrates first year
This weekend Joseph's Classic Market in West Palm Beach will mark its one-year anniversary with a two-day celebration, featuring live music, delicious samples, anniversary specials and more.
Officially opened on Nov. 8 last year, the market has become a neighborhood go-to spot for everything from gourmet meats, seafood, baked goods and produce, to prepared dishes like chicken marsala, Thai peanut grilled chicken, sausage and peppers, eggplant rollatini, wild mushroom orzo, penne alla vodka and much, much more.
The fourth and newest Joseph's Classic Market, behind the Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Palm Beach Gardens locations, the West Palm Beach store will be celebrating its anniversary with some impressive giveaways.

Celebrity Sly Stallone films TV reality series at Joseph's Market in West Palm
Though it has become a go-to spot for the neighborhood, the market has attracted some higher profile visitors.
Among the more recognizable shoppers, part-time Palm Beach resident and movie star Sylvester Stallone. Having stopped by the store many times since it opened, Sly and wife Jennifer Flavin recently took it up a notch in late September when they filmed scenes for their reality series "The Family Stallone" at the market. Store manager Cassandra Waldron said that they stayed open late that night to shoot the scenes for the show. The footage will be included in the upcoming season two of the hit Paramount+ program.
Other notable customers have included Food Network and "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" host Guy Fieri along with local billionaire real estate developer Jeff Greene.

Joseph's Market isn't the only thing buzzy at The Shops at The Press. A sign announcing a much anticipated steakhouse has recently gone up.
Chef/restaurateur Julien Gremaud (Avocado Grill, Avocado Cantina) has brought in a top local chef to lead the kitchen at his upcoming Pink Steak.
New restaurant: A less 'manly' steakhouse? Popular West Palm Beach chef plans to open one.
Gremaud tapped veteran chef Aaron Black for the job at the steakhouse he describes as a “playful” restaurant that will offer a healthier, less manly version of the traditional steakhouse model.
Gremaud and Black go way back. They worked together at Pistache in downtown West Palm Beach when Gremaud was executive chef at the French bistro and Black was a sous chef. Later, when Gremaud served as opening chef for PB Catch seafood restaurant in Palm Beach, Black held a chef position there as well. He became that restaurant’s top chef after Gremaud left in 2013 to plan the opening of Avocado Grill.
Gremaud hopes to open Pink Steak anywhere from late November to mid-December. In the meantime, Black will be based at Avocado Cantina in Palm Beach Gardens, working on Pink Steak menu development.
“I think we’ll be a great team,” said Gremaud.
