Who Went Home and Who Made It Through Night 5 on 'The Voice' Season 26 Battles
The fifth and final night of Battles for Season 26 of The Voice took place Monday night with coaches Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé pairing up their teams in duets which determined which artist went through to the Knockouts and which one went home.
Each coach has two Steals this season but as the night began, only Michael and Reba had one left.
On night one, both Michael and Gwen used their Steals. Michael to take Sloane Simon from Team Gwen, and Gwen to rescue Mori Ilderton from Team Bublé. On night two, Reba used her first Steal to take Frankie Torres from Team Gwen. Night three saw Gwen steal Deon Jones from Team Reba and Reba, Michael and Snoop all tried to Steal Austyns Stancil from Team Gwen, but Austyns joined Team Snoop. Then on night four, Snoop used his second Steal on Aliyah Khaylyn, taking her from Team Bublé.
Tonight, on the final night, Michael used his final Steal on Tanner Frick to ensure he had a country artist on his team, and Reba used the final Steal of the Battles on Cassidy Lee, taking her from Team Bublé.

Battle Round 1: J. Paul vs Kamila Kiehne from Team Bublé
Song: “Toxic” by Britney Spears
Winner: J. Paul
Michael said: “J.Paul is the quintessential singer’s singer. He has the ability, the range, the tonal quality. I look forward to seeing what this dude can do. He’s absolutely a beast.”
Battle Round 2: Camryn Brooks vs Rowdy Shea from Team Gwen
Song: “I Remember Everything” by Kasey Musgraves and Zach Bryan
Winner: Camryn Brooks
Gwen said: “I chose Camryn because she is just more ready and a little more of a seasoned singer. What I like about her voice is she has this airy, sweet, smooth sound to it.”
Battle Round 3: Tate Renner vs Tanner Frick from Team Reba
Song: “Need a Favor” by Jelly Roll
Winner: Tate Renner
Reba said: “That was a real tough decision, but I went with Tate. I love Tate’s raspiness in his voice. A little bit of Chris Stapleton in it. You just look at him and you know he’s a country singer through and through. I think he’ll go far.”
Steal: Tanner Frick
Michael said: “Tanner Frick is a huge get for me. That’s a former 4-chair turn and a piece of the puzzle that I didn’t have. I needed that country singer and now I feel that I’m completely in the game.”

Battle Round 4: Mary McAvoy vs Michael Alexandersson from Team Snoop
Song: “I Only Have Eyes for You” by The Flamingos
Winner: Mary McAvoy
Snoop said: “Mary gave more during the game. She was doing her thing. They complemented each other but when it got to the fourth quarter, there were just certain things she was doing that hit my spirit. She can go places I don’t think he can go. What I love about Mary’s voice is it is sexy. In the Knockouts, she’s going to be just fine because she’s going to pick a record that she’s comfortable with, that she loves to sing.”
Battle Round 5: Katie O vs 323 from Team Reba
Song: “Lonesome Loser” by Little River Band
Winner: Katie O
Reba said: “Katie O and 323 were fantastic. They ought to be a quartet, but my heart just said go with Katie O. She wasn’t intimidated by the other three people there; she held her own.”

Battle Round 6: Cameron Wright vs Cassidy Lee from Team Bublé
Song: “Hero” by Mariah Carey
Winner: Cameron Wright
Michael said: “I just couldn’t not choose Cameron. He did exactly what I asked him to do. He executed it perfectly with style, with panache.”
Steal: Cassidy Lee
Reba said: “I’m looking for somebody to really touch my heart and impress me and Cassidy did. Sometimes when you’re singing with somebody who has a very acrobatic voice, you tend to want to join that run, but she didn’t. Cassidy stayed right there and did a great job and held her own. She knew her strengths and she stayed in her lane and that’s what I admired about her.”
The Voice airs Monday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT and Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streaming next day on Peacock.
