PICK OF THE NIGHT
Frequency
The CW, 9 p.m.
You may have seen NBC’s Timeless earlier this week, but that wasn’t the only new time-travel show in town. Read our review of the series — and of the time-travel trend in general — here.

Lethal Weapon
Fox, 8 p.m.
What have you been thinking of the chemistry between Clayne Crawford and Damon Wayans Sr. on this series? Pretty good, right? I agree! Tonight, they’ll team up again to battle a violent drug cartel.
SEASON PREMIERE
Arrow
The CW, 8 p.m.
The superhero show (as well as Stephen Amell’s superheroic abs) returns for a fifth season. The focus, at least in the beginning, will be on Oliver Queen’s legacy both as mayor and as Arrow. For more, check out our preview interview with EP Marc Guggenheim here.
