Watch Travis Kelce Light Up While Reacting to a Video of Taylor Swift Chugging a Beer
Fans couldn’t help but notice the way Travis Kelce seemed to light up when he saw a resurfaced video showing his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift, chugging a beer while attending the 2024 Super Bowl.
The clip was included in a video submission by former NFL player Ross Tucker, who told Travis, 34, and his older brother, Jason Kelce, that he wants to be part of an upcoming beer competition hosted by the brothers’ New Heights podcast. To prove that he would be worthy for inclusion, Tucker detailed some of his own beer-chugging prowess before mentioning the “Cruel Summer” songstress.
In one clip included in Tucker’s video, he resurfaced a clip showing Swift, 34, throwing back her head and downing a beer while watching Travis’ Chiefs battle the San Francisco 49ers during Super Bowl LVIII. While the Chiefs ultimately won the Super Bowl, the moment Swift chose to chug her drink occurred at a moment of struggle for her boyfriend’s team.
“People from my hometown have proven to be excellent chuggers on the world’s biggest stage,” Tucker, 45, narrated as the video of Swift played. He then made the pitch for himself, urging the Kelce brothers to “please give me a chance.”
Travis and Jason watched Tucker’s video submission during an episode of New Heights that was released on Wed., June 19. When the clip of his girlfriend popped up onscreen, Travis flashed a smile and began to laugh. Jason, 36, also laughed at the memory.
One fan who shared a clip of the moment on X, formerly Twitter, noted that Travis appeared "proud of his girl beer chugging skills.”

“[I]t’s the way his face lit up,” another fan agreed.
When Super Bowl LVIII took place in February, Jason and Swift both attended the game in person in support of Travis. By then, the power couple had already been dating for several months. The two first took their relationship public in September 2023 when the “Fortnight” singer began popping up at Chiefs games. Over the course of their relationship, Travis has similarly traveled to attend several of her Eras Tour shows.
