MTV will air the 2024 VMAs, live from UBS Arena Wednesday, September 11 starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT. There will be a live simulcast of the awards show via TelevisaUnivision.

Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Rauw Alejandro and Sabrina Carpenter were among the first round of performers announced for the show. Next came Benson Boone, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz and LISA. Anitta, KAROl G, LL COOL J and Shawn Mendes will also take the stage. Eminem will open the show.
Who is nominated at the 2024 MTV VMAs?
Taylor Swift leads the pack with 10 nominations. Her “Fortnight” collaborator Post Malone follows close behind with nine nominations. Ariana Grande, Eminem and Sabrina Carpenter are tied for six nods. Megan Thee Stallion and SZA each have five nominations, and LISA, Olivia Rodrigo and Teddy Swims have four each.
Sabrina Carpenter and Teddy Swims are among 29 first-time nominees this year. Benson Boone and Tyla each have three nominations. Chappell Roan, Jelly Roll, Jessie Murph, Rauw Alejandro, Sexyy Red and Victoria Monét have two each. Rounding out the nominees are Alexander Stewart, Burna Boy, Coco Jones, Flyana Boss, Gracie Abrams, Gunna, Joyner Lucas, Laufey, LE SSERAFIM, Lojay, Morgan Wallen, Myke Towers, NCT Dream, Pheelz, Playboi Carti, RAYE, Shaboozey, Tyler Childers and The Warning.
