They bridged the gap between rock and electronic at a time when most artists would have imagined such a marriage to be impossible. Radiohead has toured the world countless times and break the internet with the mere mention of activity. Still, that self-deprecating tune with the crunchy guitar riff remains their biggest commercial hit.

It’s a tough one to cover. It’s so iconic, and yet Swedish trio Ember Island have managed to turn the unforgettable loser anthem into a breathtaking work of art all their own. It’s a much more subtle composition than the original with a cinematic touch that seems perfect for the end of any edgy coming-of-age film. We used to think it was the jarring guitar that made “Creep” so awesome. Now we stand corrected.
The video is equally sensual and very mysterious. Some faceless people are either swimming or drowning in a sea of emotions. Radiohead will do that to a person.
