Ashley and Wynonna Judd accept a medallion in honor of their mother, Naomi Judd, who died from suicide, during a ceremony at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville on May 1.
Ashley Judd shared tearful, brief remarks before her older sister Wynonna spoke at The Judd’s Country Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony Sunday.
“I’m sorry that [Naomi] couldn’t hang on until today," Ashley said.
Naomi, 76, passed away Saturday afternoon. Wynonna said her mother's last living moments included praying the Bible's 23rd Psalm.
