“You” didn’t gather much buzz on its first season on Lifetime, but now that it’s available on Netflix, it’s become one one of the most popular series on the streaming service. The stalker-thriller drama just debuted its second season in December and though a third season has already been confirmed, fans are scrambling to find the next toxic guilty pleasure that only Joe was able to fill.
Season 2 delves deeper into Joe’s psyche and childhood trauma as he tries to escape his past and a previous relationship that ended in murder. After leaving New York City to move to Los Angeles for a fresh start, Joe becomes Will and vows to never murder for love again. That is until Love, his new obsession, enters his life, sparking his toxic need to provide “protection” that usually ends in blood.
