Warner Bros. to remake hit German film, 'Who Am I'
Warner Bros. is planning to remake the German film, Who Am I, EW has confirmed.
The film, directed by Baran “Bo” Odar, is a thriller surrounding a young man, Benjamin (Tom Schilling) who gets sucked into a hacking group called “CLAY,” which stands for “Clowns Laughing @ You” (hence the clown masks). As the hacking group’s reputation rises, so does Benjamin’s sense of hubris, until he and the group become the most wanted cyber criminals in the world. According to Deadline, Who Am I premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and has since been a box office draw in its homeland.
