'Virgin River' Fans Crack up Over Alexandra Breckenridge's Chicken Coop Snafu
Alexandra Breckenridge may be a bonafide TV star, but she's only human when it comes to getting stuck in places she never thought she'd be.
In an interesting turn of events, the Virgin River star found herself in a sticky scenario while rushing to go record automatic dialogue replacement (ADR) for the Netflix drama's season 6. Posting a video of the snafu on Instagram, Alexandra revealed she managed to get stuck in her at-home chicken coop. With her husband Casey Hooper and their son Jack behind the camera, she explained how she was trying to clean the water for the animals when the door shut behind her and accidentally locked. What's more, she tried to call for someone to help, but no one was there to assist her.
"I got locked in the coop today," she hilariously admitted in the caption on August 16. "I yelled and yelled for help. Now we know I can’t be heard from in our house. ?? I was even late for my very last session of ADR for Virgin River season 6 due to the debacle."
When fans saw the This Is Us alum's unexpected fail online, they couldn't help but get hysterical about it in the comments.
"To be fair that’s the most Virgin River thing that could happen," one person claimed. "I love how HALF of the video is still from inside the coop! ???????? And yes, he HAD to get the phone! ??????," another cracked up. "Locked in the chicken coop - might be the best ever excuse for being late for an important meeting ????," a different follower added.
Thankfully, all is OK and Alexandra managed to make it out of the coop! We just hope it didn't have too much of an effect on what she had to do for Virgin River, since we're all eagerly awaiting the new installment's drop.
Needless to say, should we ever find ourselves in a similar predicament, we know who to call for help...
