Usher and Grace Miguel split after 2 years of marriage
Usher and his wife, Grace Miguel, are separating after two years of marriage.
“After much thought and consideration, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” the two said in a statement to Us Weekly. “We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
The outlet reports that Usher, 39, and Miguel — who have been together for nearly a decade — have been separated for a couple of months. She last shared a post with Usher, the singer and former coach on The Voice, on New Year’s Day.

Meanwhile, his last Instagram picture with Miguel was in October, ahead of Halloween.

It’s been a bumpy year for the pair, who wed in 2015. Last spring, Usher was sued by multiple people who claimed he gave them the herpes virus. However, Miguel, 48, seemed to stand by her man. Miguel and Usher began dating in 2009, six years after he split with his first wife, Tameka Foster. The “Yeah” singer shares two children with Foster and none with Miguel.
Shortly after news broke of their separation, Miguel shared some inspirational messages on Instagram.
Although many people left messages of support, she disabled the comments section on her second post.
