Celebrities swarmed the last day of matches in Flushing, New York on Sept. 8 for the 2024 US Open. The event was held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Corona Park. It stretched over 14 days with matches airing on ABC and ESPN.
For the final day, while there were standouts like Taylor Swift wearing a brown Gucci sandal and Bad Bunny in a pair of all white Adidas sneakers, quite a number of attendees were in head to toe Ralph Lauren. Here are some of the shoes scene at the event.
Usher
Usher went to the final match of the US Open wearing white trousers and a white jacket. He matched the look with a pair of Ralph Lauren Purple Label waxed calfskin Welington loafers. The shoes include a short, stacked heel as well as a strap accented with a metal stirrup.
Coco Jones
Coco Jones paired Black Suede Studio’s fairly simple Arianna sandal with her look. The shoe features two pieces of Brazilian leather criss-crossed over the top of the foot and is otherwise a slip-on mule style. The sole features a distinct pointed to box. The company sells it in other colors for $209.
Omar Apollo
Omar Apollo attended the US open in jeans, a jacket and a pair of beat up derby shoes.
Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb
Jenna Bush Hager wore a platform sandal with a thick, block heel composed of cork. The shoe featurs a brown leather upper that fastens with a buckle above the toes. Hoda Kotb kept up the cork theme with a stiletto pump, seemingly made of cork. The silhouette included a pointed toe.
Billy Jean King
Billy Jean King wore a pair of all black low profile sneakers, likely both light and comfortable.
Justin Theroux
With a weathered brown leather jacket and faded blue jeans, actor Justin Theroux wore a pair of brown suede boots with a cuban heel to the last day of the US Open. The shoes were the Roughout suede boots from Ralph Lauren’s RRL line.
Hasan Minhaj
Hasan Minhaj wore a black suit featuring a textured, rectangle tie. He also wore a pair of black slick loafters featuring tassels on the front.
Ryu Jun-yeol
Jun-yeol wore a pair of all white Ralph Lauren Polo court sneakers. The shoes feature the Polo logo and are a low top style.
