Under the Boardwalk Trailer: Michael Cera & Keke Palmer Become Crabs in Animated Comedy
The official Under the Boardwalk trailer for Paramount Animation’s latest adventure comedy has been released, featuring the voices of Michael Cera and Keke Palmer.
The video shows Cera and Palmer as crabs who accidentally get lost after being swept away by a storm. It highlights their epic journey to finding their way back home. The film is slated to arrive in theaters on October 27, followed by its digital release on November 7.

What to expect in Under the Boardwalk?
“When timid Jersey crab Armen meets bold tourist sea crab Ramona, it causes shell-shocking tension in the community,” reads the synopsis. “But when the duo are swept away by a storm, they embark on an epic journey to find home. Their courage unites their families paving the way for great summers to come.”
Under the Boardwalk is directed by David Soren, who co-wrote the screenplay with Lorene Scafaria based on a story by Scafaria and David Dobkin. The film also stars Bobby Cannavale, John Magaro, Gideon Adlon, Steve Schirripa, Cassandra Scerbo, and Vanessa Bell Calloway. The film is executive produced by Scafaria, Lisa Stewart, and Megan Wolpert, with Dobkin, Alison Gardner, and Dagan Potter producing.
