Tyler Perry's Madea is Trump's new White House communications director on 'The Tonight Show'
Tyler Perry stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as the lovable Madea to field questions as the newest Trump administration White House communications director. With the recent rotating door of people in the high-pressure position, it just seemed like, why not take a chance on Madea?
When asked about the administration’s poor handling of disaster relief, Madea said, “Well, have you looked at the administration? It is a disaster. And I’m the relief. Next.”
And when asked whether or not she actually voted for Trump she said, “Hell, no. I didn’t vote for Trump. Only two black people voted for Trump. One was Ben Carson and the other one is the man behind him at the rallies with the sign that says ‘Blacks for Trump.’ I’m not one of them. I voted for Hillary three times. Thank you very much.”
While Madea might not have voted for her new boss, it makes sense that this communication director gig is merely a stepping stone for bigger and better things. She said, “It was Franklin Teddy Theodore W. Bush Roosevelt who said, ‘We have nothing to fear but a mad black woman in the White House.'”
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Tonight Show free on Yahoo View.
