'Two and a Half Men' alum Jon Cryer denies claim in Demi Moore’s headline-making memoir
Jon Cryer is setting the record straight about an anecdote in Demi Moore's bombshell-filled memoir.
The actress wrote in the newly released"Inside Out" that she had a sexual relationship with the "Pretty in Pink" actor. The two acted together in 1984's "No Small Affair." According to Moore, Cryer lost his virginity to the actress, but the actor says that isn't so.
Moore writes that Cryer "fell" for her off-screen, as his character did hers in the film. "It pains me to think of how callous I was with his feelings – that I stole what could have been such an important and beautiful moment from him."
Moore, who entered rehab before starting the 1985 feature "St. Elmo's Fire," continued: "I was sort of losing it right then, and I was definitely not in a place to take care of someone else's feelings."
Responding to a Page Six story with Moore's claim on Twitter Tuesday, Cryer told his side of the story.
"Well, the good thing about this is she doesn’t have to feel bad about it anymore, because while I’m sure she was totally justified making that assumption based on my skill level (and the stunned look on my face at the time), I had actually lost my virginity in high school," Cryer wrote.
In another tweet, he added: "But she’s right the other part, I was over the moon for her during a very troubled time in her life. I have nothing but affection for her and not a regret in the world."

Cryer's "Two and a Half Men" co-star, who is also Moore's third husband, Ashton Kutcher, had people wondering if he too took to the social media site to address his ex's claims.
"I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet. Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife and I deleted it," Kutcher wrote Tuesday, ending his post with a red heart emoji.
He and actress Mila Kunis have two children: Wyatt Isabelle, 4, and Dimitri Portwood, 2.

During the second part of an interview with Moore Tuesday, "Good Morning America" reported Kutcher's "representatives say they are not commenting on the book."
A rep for Kutcher did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for comment about "Inside Out" either.
In the pages of her memoir, Moore details meeting the "That '70s Show" actor one spring 2003 night in New York. She described "an ease" between the two, "a deep comfort – and a lot of electricity."
Despite a strong start, Moore found herself compromising for her young love – throwing away years of sobriety and inviting others into her marriage.
When Kutcher said he didn't know "if alcoholism is a real thing," Moore turned her back on her sobriety. "I didn't think, This is a kid in his twenties who has no idea what's talking about," she writes. "I didn't think, I have nearly two decades of sobriety under my belt, and that's a huge accomplishment. Instead, I cast about justifications for his argument."
During their union, Moore writes that she found herself going "into contortions to try to fit the mold of the woman he wanted his wife to be" in an attempt to save her marriage, which she said included threesomes. Moore said the act of opening up their relationship brought with it "a totally false sense of power," and called it "a mistake."
Kutcher moved out of their home in 2011, according to Moore, who documented in her book his alleged affairs with two women.
On Tuesday's "GMA," Moore acknowledged the excruciating agony she felt following their split stemmed from more than just their demise.
“I really know that there are parts of what occurred with this relationship ending that were a level of devastating for me that was really just about that relationship, it was really about my whole life," she told Diane Sawyer. "It was about being the 2-year-old who wasn’t safe, that this really represented that I’m not lovable, that I’m not deserving, and that’s not about him. That’s all just about me.”
