Twitter can't stop talking about how much Christine Blasey Ford's lawyer looks like actor Mandy Patinkin
There wasn’t much to joke about Thursday as Christine Blasey Ford, visibly upset at times, sat before the Senate Judiciary Committee to levy accusations of sexual assault against Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh subsequently denied the allegations made by Ford when he went before the committee at the tense hearing.
Still, somehow, the internet found a way to laugh during the more than four hours that Ford was in front of the committee. Some of the people watching streams of the hearing — undoubtedly fans of Homeland — decided that one of Ford’s attorneys, Michael Bromwich, looked familiar. They thought he looked suspiciously like Emmy- and Tony-winning actor Mandy Patinkin.
