All the details on Serratos’ bespoke sparkler from Brilliant Earth
Christian Serratos is entering her wifey era with a unique engagement ring on her finger.
The actress, who is known for her roles in The Walking Dead and Twilight and recently starred as Selena Quintanilla in Selena: The Series, is engaged to longtime partner, New Politics musician David Boyd.
On Aug. 16, the couple announced the news on Instagram with a series of photos, including close-up shots of Serratos' dazzling ring from celeb-loved luxury jewelry brand Brilliant Earth.
Boyd worked with the brand to create the custom piece. It features a rose gold and red enamel band adorned with a lab-created pear-shaped pink diamond weighing 11.66 carats. Serratos called the sparkler her “dream ring” and gushed over its “perfection" on Instagram.

Serratos, 33, and Boyd, 36, met a decade ago in Atlanta and share daughter Wolf, per The Knot, who chatted with the television star about her wedding plans in an interview published on Aug. 16.
"David was on tour with Paramore and Fallout Boy, and I was filming The Walking Dead at the time," Serratos told the outlet. "I watched his performance, and when I went backstage to say hi to a friend who was on the tour, I was introduced to him. We had our first date the next night and have been together ever since."

Boyd also shared a sweet message to his love alongside his Instagram announcement post.
“I’ve always loved you and I always feel happier and complete when I’m with you and Wolfie!!!! Here’s shouting it out from the rooftops and celebrating our love and continued future. I LOVE YOU,” he wrote.
In her Instagram caption, Serratos joked that she’d practically been calling Boyd her “husband” for 10 years, and she told The Knot that they’ve been talking about marriage for quite some time. What she envisions for their nuptials is a ceremony that’s “camp” and “very deconstructed,” much like her ring.
"We aren't very traditional people,” she said, describing herself as a more “introverted” person.
