TVLine Items: Paul Adelstein Joins Silicon Valley Series, Gremlins: The Wild Batch Return Date and More
Paul Adelstein is offering up his therapy services to tech giants.
The Private Practice and Prison Break vet has joined AMC and AMC+’s untitled Silicon Valley series as a Freudian psychotherapist, our sister site Deadline reports.
More from TVLine
The forthcoming drama — from writer and showrunner Jonathan Glatzer (Succession, Bad Sisters, Better Call Saul) — is set inside the bubble of Silicon Valley, “amid misguided corporate cultures, moony innovation labs and cutthroat private high schools,” the official synopsis reads. “In our story, a scandal is sparked by the exploitation of personal data which unravels out of a rift between a self-appointed ‘inventor of the future’ tech CEO (played by Made for Love’s Billy Magnussen) and his self-serving ‘performance psychologist’ (Barry’s Sarah Goldberg).”
The cast also includes Meaghan Rath (Hawaii Five-0) and Simon Helberg (The Big Bang Theory).
