‘The Traitors’ Season 3 Trailer Sees Faithfuls Under Treacherous Attack
The trailer for the treachery-filled third season of The Traitors is out, bringing a new round of familiar realty TV faces to the Scottish Highlands in hopes of claiming a $250,000 prize.
Peacock’s buzzy murder mystery game hosted by Alan Cumming divides its cast into “faithfuls” and “traitors,” the latter who work to eliminate other contestants from the game. The series broke out in its second season — earning the show four Emmy nominations — and has already been renewed through a fifth season.

The trailer (below) highlights a handful of Bravo stars who join the game for season three, including former Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval. “Finally, people are taking me seriously,” he jokes of his baked-in villain status and new reality series.
“To get the job done, I’ll stab you in the back. I have a thirst for blood,” adds RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bob the Drag Queen in the teaser.
“Things are about to get murderous — but only metaphorically, I hope,” says Cumming.
Among the 21 reality stars facing off are Bob Harper (The Biggest Loser), Chrishell Stause (Selling Sunset), Ciara Miller (Summer House), Dolores Catania (The Real Housewives of New Jersey), Dylan Efron (Down to Earth with Zac Efron), Gabby Windey (The Bachelorette), Lord Ivar Mountbatten (British Royal), WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia, Rob Mariano (Survivor), Robyn Dixon (The Real Housewives of Potomac) and Britney Spears’ ex Sam Asghari.
The third season bows on Jan. 9, 2025.
Cumming, who also produces and who will be hosting seasons four and five, recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he’s playing a character on The Traitors, for which he earned the fifth Emmy nod of his career: “I act my socks off in The Traitors, just like I did on The Good Wife, and it’s this very juicy thing like I do in the theater or would do at the Tonys.”
The show is all about performance, as the only way to win the game is by deceiving the others. “We all lie, but we forget to see when people are lying or have to lie [to us],” explained Cumming of the show’s intrigue. “It’s a sociological thing. We’re a secret camera, getting to watch people do stuff we never normally get to [see].”
He also offered this tease for season three: “I can’t wait [for you to see] who [was] lying so profusely and dramatically. They were giving me a run for my money!”
Studio Lambert produces The Traitors, which is based on a Dutch format. Stephen Lambert, Mike Cotton, Sam Rees-Jones, Rosie Franks, Jack Burgess and Tim Harcourt are the executive producers.
