Tom Sizemore Arrested for Domestic Violence

Tom Sizemore was arrested Tuesday for domestic violence, PEOPLE has confirmed.

TMZ reports that the actor, 54, is in police custody following an alleged altercation with his girlfriend in which she claims he struck her in the face and head. His bail is set at $50,000, authorities tell PEOPLE.

This is the second time the actor has been arrested for domestic violence. In 2003, Sizemore was sentenced to six months in jail for physically abusing his then-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss during their two-year relationship. He later violated probation by contacting Fleiss, failing several drug tests, and using a prosthetic device in an attempt to fake a drug test.

In 2007, he was sentenced to 16 months in prison for violating his probation in a drug-related case.
