Tina Knowles Has Mother-Daughter Moment With Beyoncé in Amsale Pantsuit at ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ World Premiere
Three generations of Beyoncé’s family were present at the world premiere of “Mufasa: The Lion King” on Monday in Los Angeles. Tina Knowles attended in support of her daughter, who reprises the role of Nala in the sequel to 2019’s remake of “The Lion King,” and her granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter, who makes her film debut as Kiara.
Knowles sported a custom pantsuit by Amsale, which consisted of an off-the-shoulder corset top and tailored trousers. The “Matriarch” author accessorized with leather gloves, layered bangles, a pinky ring and a statement Schiaparelli belt.

Knowles wore her highlighted brunette tresses in waves, while her makeup consisted of rosy blush, beige eye shadow and a bold red lip.
On the red carpet, Knowles posed with Beyoncé, who coordinated with Carter in a gold Balmain gown. The “Cowboy Carter” artist’s gleaming frock came from the label’s collaboration with “The Lion King,” which debuted this summer. Creative director Olivier Rousteing’s couture capsule honors the original film’s 30th anniversary.
On Instagram, Beyoncé said she “could not be prouder” of her eldest child, who voices Simba and Nala’s daughter.
“My gorgeous baby girl. This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara,” she wrote. “Keep shining.”
Carter appeared in a custom Christian Siriano ballgown, which featured a sweetheart neckline and a draped bodice.
“Blue you look like a goddess and we loved making this for you,” the designer wrote in an Instagram post.
Other stars in attendance at the “Mufasa” premiere included Heidi Klum, Jordan Woods and Beyoncé’s protégé, Chloe Bailey.
