Timeless to feature Bonnie and Clyde, casts criminal couple

The Time Team’s about to rob some banks — with Bonnie and Clyde. 

The ninth episode of Timeless, titled “The Last Ride of Bonnie & Clyde” and set to air this winter, will feature the infamous pair when Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter), and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) make their way to the Depression-era South while hot on Flynn’s (Goran Visnjic) heels. EW has learned that Timeless has cast the bank-robbing lovers: Jacqueline Byers (Roadies) will play Bonnie Parker, while Sam Strike (EastEnders) is set to play Clyde Barrow.

While the trio get caught up with the Barrow gang and try to gain the trust of Bonnie and Clyde to figure out Flynn’s plan, Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey) will be working on a lead in present day to help solve the mystery — a lead that (fingers crossed!) Lucy, Wyatt, and Rufus can learn more about if they survive the crossfire of the 1930s.

Timeless airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
