The coronavirus pandemic put a lot of people’s Memorial Day weekend pool plans on hold, but Tia Mowry and her family are still finding ways to rock their summer-ready swimsuits. The secret? Bring the party indoors, and think of the bathtub as a very small pool instead!
In an adorable new Instagram post, the Sister, Sister actor and cookbook author posed happily in front of a freshly-drawn bubble bath with her daughter, 2-year-old Cairo Tiahna Hardrict, each in matching white swimsuits. Mowry opted for a flirty peplum one-piece, while Cairo’s two-piece featured a sweet scallop neckline and lace-up detail. The mom of two also accessorized with a matching white hair wrap, glam hoop earrings, and a glass of red wine.

“Bubbles ?? Eye mask ?? Wine ??,” she wrote in the caption. “And last but not least, toddler ??.”
Also: Can we talk about Mowry’s glam and soothing bathroom?! We’re seriously swooning over that free-standing tub and those chic natural baskets. This isn’t the first time she’s let fans peek inside her bathroom bonding time with Cairo, either: In April, she documented a laugh-out-loud moment in which Cairo turned pantyliners into (temporary) shower decor, and earlier this month she posted an early-morning photo complete with wrinkly pajamas — as real as real gets.
Mowry and Cairo aren’t the only duo who know the power of matching swimsuits, either. Jessica Alba and her oldest daughter, Honor, are also swapping their quarantine sweats for identical bathing suits: Last month, they modeled the same brown, high-waisted bikini, and both used straw hats and button-down shirts as accessories. And just last week she posted another twinning bikini photo — this time in animal prints. Gorgeous genes and great fashion sense? Some things are just better when you get them from your mama.
