'Ten Days in the Valley' sneak peek: The moment no parent wants to experience
ABC’s twisty new mystery Ten Days in the Valley premieres this Sunday, but you may start playing detective now after watching this exclusive clip. The series stars The Closer’s Kyra Sedgwick as overworked TV producer/writer Jane Sadler, who, as she’s no doubt done many times before, leaves her daughter sleeping alone in the house while she struggles to meet a script deadline on her cop show by working late into the night in her writing shed. She has a baby monitor with her, so it’s fine, right? And it’s normal that she left a door to the house ajar?
That the door is closed and locked when Jane finishes her work is the first sign that something may have happened to her daughter, who we quickly learn is missing. While Jane’s ex (Sense8‘s Kick Gurry) is an obvious suspect (he’s not happy with the custody arrangements), at least she can trust her half-sister (Parenthood‘s Erika Christensen) and assistant (The Walking Dead‘s Emily Kinney). We think?
Ten Days in the Valley premieres Oct. 1 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
