‘Tell me more, tell me more’: Grease cast attend Harvest Moon event

GIBSON CITY, Ill. (WCIA) — Harvest Moon Drive-In will close out their “summer lovin'” with a showing of Grease for the second to last weekend of the season. And, attendees can expect guest appearances from several cast members.

Harvest Moon Drive-In voted 2nd best in the U.S.

On Oct. 11, “Doody,” played by Barry Pearl, “Tom Chisum,” played by Lorenzo Lamas and “Jan,” played by Jamie Donnelly will be in Gibson City for the drive-in meet and greet.

The original actors who portrayed T-Bird, the jock Tom Chisum and Pink Lady Jan will be available for photos from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Gates open at 4:00 p.m.

The original “Greased Lightning” car used in the movie will also be at the drive-in and available for photos.

Tickets for the event can be purchased here. According to Harvest Moon, the movie start time depends on the length of the meet and greet, but will begin between 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Autographs will be $30 each, selfies will be $20 each, or you could pay for a selfie and an autograph together for $40. The money will be paid directly to the cast member of your choice at the event.

The movie will be shown on both screens, and the drive-in can hold 400 cars. So, don’t be “all alone at the drive-in” this weekend. Harvest Moon asks attendees to come dressed to impress and to be ready to jam out to 1950s hits before the show begins.
