In the wake of the success of A24’s recent horror pic Talk To Me, the directors of the acclaimed film are now developing a sequel to the chilly saga.
A24 is rejoining forces with creators Danny and Michael Philippou for the film’s sequel, aptly titled Talk 2 Me. Similar to the original, Talk 2 Me will be written and directed by both of them and the former will co-write the script with Bill Hinzman.

“Because I was writing it for so long and we were redrafting and redrafting, you just can’t help but start writing other scenes, scenes of different people experiencing the hands, continuing on these characters’ story,” Danny said. “So, there’s scenes for a sequel, yeah. And if A24 want it, I’ll bloody give it to them.”
Starring Sophie Wilde, Talk To Me chronicles Mia, a bereaved teenager who joins her group of friends in playing a game with an embalmed hand that supposedly opens up a door to the other side during a party activity. Of course, this decision unleashing terrifying supernatural forces and even greater consequences.
Also starring Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji and Zoe Terakes, Talk To Me has grossed $26.1 million against a budget of $4.5 million.
