SXSW Sydney Share 50+ More Acts For 2024 Music Festival

SXSW Sydney have shared an expansive second line-up announcement for its Music Festival portion, following on from last December’s confirmation of its return and May’s first artist announcement. A further 56 acts have joined the festivities – the complete list of which can be found below, in addition to ticketing information regarding the October conference.

The new line-up announcement largely focuses on bands and artists from East Asia and South East Asia, coming to Australia for the very first time. Among these are Voice of Bracepot, Kara Chenoa and Monica Karina, representing Indonesia, as well as Off The Menu, 87dance and the combination of producer SSIVIVIV and “grunge techno” artist Livigesh representing South Korea.

On the Australian front, acts from across the country will convene across the Sydney CBD as part of the festival. This includes Adelaide’s Coldwave, Brisbane’s Full Flower Moon Band, Melbourne’s Juice Webster and the Northern Territory’s Mulga Bore Hard Rock.

SXSW Sydney made its debut in October 2023. It included the world premiere of The Wiggles‘ documentary Hot Potato, talks from Queer Eye‘s Tan France and Chance The Rapper and musical performances from Otoboke Beaver, Los Bitchos, Sorry, Barkaa, Tkay Maidza, 1300 and Ben Lee, amongst dozens of others at venues across the city.
