Suri Cruise is 13! Katie Holmes Treats Daughter to Dinner with Friends for Her Birthday

Katie Holmes’s daughter Suri celebrated her 13th birthday among friends at a special, low-key dinner Thursday night in New York City.
The mother and daughter duo stepped out together in coats and were joined by two of Suri’s friends, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
For Suri’s birthday last year, Holmes, 40, shared a sweet birthday tribute to her daughter on Instagram.
In the photo, Suri, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise, wore a tiara and flower crown on her head.
She also shared a photo with an assortment of balloons, writing, “Happy” in the caption.
In February, Holmes shared a photo of her daughter taking in a snowy mountain view while they enjoyed a vacation together.
“‘No need to hurry. No need to sparkle. No need to be anybody but oneself,’” Holmes captioned the black-and-white shot on Instagram, quoting English writer Virginia Woolf.

In March, the two paid a visit to the Moria refugee camp in Lesbos, Greece, with the organization Artolution.
Holmes shared a black and white photo of Suri laughing and smiling while playing with a young child.
“Wonderful to spend time with such beautiful souls,” Holmes captioned the post.
