Super-awkward moments on 'The Bachelor' get two ladies sent home immediately
The pressure was starting to get to the ladies on The Bachelor this week, and no one was under more of it than Lauren S. Arie took Lauren on the only one-on-one date to a winery in Napa Valley, and it seemed like the wine gave Lauren a bit of word vomit. “I am, like, kind of freaking out, ’cause I’m all, like, all over the place,” Lauren said. “I literally don’t even know who’s sitting at that table, I’m, like, ‘What are you doing?'”
Lauren was rambling about past relationships, her family, friends, her mom’s eye infection, and she knew it was not going well. She said, “It would feel great to get the rose. But right now, I wouldn’t give — I’d be, like, ‘This girl’s all over the place.'” So when it came time for Arie to hand out a rose, Lauren already knew what was coming. Although, to be fair, Arie wasn’t making much sense, either. “I can’t give you this,” he told Lauren while holding a rose, “And it’s because I just … I don’t even know.”
Lauren wasn’t the only one on tilt. Annaliese was freaking out that she hadn’t kissed Arie yet. So she awkwardly confronted him about it during the cocktail party. Annaliese told Arie that she really wanted to kiss him, but she’s not the type of girl to make the first move. Unfortunately for Annaliese, Arie wasn’t the type to make the first move, either, or in her case, he wasn’t going to make a move at all. “I just don’t think we’re there yet,” Arie told her. The extremely awkward moment was, luckily, interrupted by another woman.
Because Arie said he didn’t think they were there yet, Annaliese went back for some more clarity. Unfortunately, it was not the clarity she wanted. Arie told her that he didn’t really see a future for them and sent Annaliese home before the rose ceremony.
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC. Watch clips and full episodes of The Bachelor for free on Yahoo View.
