Suge Knight Accuses Diddy Of Being A Longtime FBI Informant
Suge Knight alleges that Sean “Diddy” Combs has been a longtime confidential informant for the FBI, as the embattled rap mogul has come under fire amid accusations of sexual assault, physical abuse, and sex trafficking.
During the latest episode of his Collect Call with Suge Knight podcast, the Death Row Records founder, who is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence stemming from a manslaughter conviction, spoke of Diddy’s alleged cooperation.
“It’s a lot of things that people been knowing, and everybody gets judged differently,” Knight told his son, Collect Call host Legend Knight, at one point during the conversation.
“It shouldn’t be a grey area when it comes to doing something right, doing something positive, or doing something for the community. That being said, naturally, Puffy been an FBI informant forever, as they would say. That’s why it’s different when it comes to him.”
The notorious rap exec also argued that while Puff is the cental figure in the various controversies surrounding him, others were complicit in and privy to his alleged crimes and misconduct, including his industry peers, romantic partners, and others.
“Regardless of who gets hurt, all everybody been saying is ‘Puffy, Puffy, Puffy,’” Knight lamented. “I think they shouldn’t all blame everything on Puffy. His exes in the industry knew about it. Everybody in his crew knew about it. The bi**hes he dates knew about it. Everybody knew about it. So don’t push away from it now.”
Knight’s history with Combs dates back to the ’90s, when the two moguls’ labels, Death Row Records and Bad Boy Records, competed for rap supremacy. Tensions between the rival executives, as well as their star artists, Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., boiled over and were underscored by the deaths of Shakur and Biggie, in September 1996 and March 1997, respectively.
However, despite his and Combs’ checkered past, Knight’s disdain for Combs has seemingly tempered, as he even sent a public message to Combs warning that his life is in danger. “You know the secrets, who’s involved in that little secret room you guys are participating in,” the 59-year-old said on a prior Collect Call episode. “They gonna get you if they can.”
