Sting Wins Last Match, Retains AEW Tag Titles With Darby Allin At AEW Revolution
Sting emerged victorious in his last match at AEW Revolution. In doing so, he maintained his undefeated record in the company.
WWE and TNA Hall of Famer Sting wrestled in the final match of his legendary career at AEW Revolution. He and Darby Allin defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Young Bucks. Before the match, Sting had a special entrance, as his sons dressed up as “Surfer Sting” and “Wolfpac Sting”. They also got involved in the action.
Sting went all out in his final match, as he took a suplex off the stage and through a table. Likewise, Darby Allin put his body on the line, as he went crashing through a pane of glass after he dove off a ladder. Ric Flair and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat also got involved in the action, and the Young Bucks attacked them.
The absolute disrespect!

In the end, Sting scored the win one last time as he made Matthew Jackson tap out to the Scorpion Death Lock.
Here’s how the match broke down, courtesy of our play-by-play coverage:
Ricky Steamboat gets involved, but the Young Bucks attack him. Ric Flair checks on Sting and covers him as Matthew stands over him with a title belt. The Young Bucks superkick Flair and Steamboat. Matthew hits Sting with a belt and pins him for a two-count. The Young Bucks superkick Sting, but he no-sells it. Sting rallies and takes the fight to the Bucks. He hits a Scorpion Death Drop, but Nicholas breaks it up. The Bucks hit Sting with the EVP Trigger, but Sting kicks out.
Sting kicks out at one after another EVP Trigger. Allin breaks up a TK Driver, and Sting hits the Scorpion Death Drop for a two-count. Allin hits the Coffin Drop, and Sting makes Matthew tap out to the Scorpion Death Lock in his last match.
