Splish, Splash! Ronnie Wood Takes His Twins for a Dip in the Pool

Fall may be in the air, but Ronnie Wood is still soaking up the last rays of summer!

The Rolling Stones guitarist recently took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and his wife Sally enjoying some time in the pool with their 4-month-old twin daughters Gracie Jane and Alice Rose.

“Water babies,” Wood, 69, wrote next to the snap of the proud parents with their daughters, sporting hot pink bathing suits.

The couple announced their pregnancy news this past December. Gracie and Alice are the first children for Wood’s theater-producer wife, 38, whom he married in 2012.

“Ronnie cut the cords and we just held our babies and looked at their little faces,” Sally told Hello! magazine in June. “We both cried. You are just so happy and emotional, the tears are just there. Ronnie is so completely committed to being a dad, helping me, looking after us all.”

Wood also has four adult children from a previous relationship — Tyrone, 33, Leah, 38, Jesse, 39, and Jamie, 43 — as well as 10 grandchildren.

Wood himself told Hello! that he is “the burper, walker, nappy changer and I’m still trying to work out when I can get to sleep in between all that” — but there’s one important aspect of life he isn’t holding back on exposing his daughters to.

“I have played the guitar to them and when I get round to it I will do some drawings,” the musician and author of How Can It Be? A Rock & Roll Diary shared at the time.
