Lady Liberty goes Pop! First look at new limited-edition 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Funko figure
Liberty Island has been visited by a number of superheroes over the years, from the Man of Steel in 1983's Superman III to Marvel's not-so-merry mutants in the 2000 blockbuster X-Men. But Spider-Man: No Way Home marks the first time that Lady Liberty has hosted three versions of the same hero, and Yahoo Entertainment has your first look at the version of the Big Apple icon that Funko is releasing just in time for New York Comic Con on Oct. 6.
In the grand climax of the wall-crawler's third solo adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all three big-screen Spider-Men — Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland — swing to the Statue of Liberty for an epic brawl that pits them against villains that have menaced New York City across the Spider-Man franchise, from Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin to Jamie Foxx's Electro. It's a magical movie moment that brought cheers from the millions of moviegoers who showed up in droves to make No Way Home the second-highest grossing MCU entry of all time.
Retailing for $12, Funko's 4.75-inch tall Lady Liberty boasts gold metallic detail, as well as the Captain America shield she's glimpsed holding onscreen in tribute to the Star-Spangled Avenger who saved the past, present and future in Avengers: Endgame. And while the Spider-Bros aren't included in the box, the company has a plethora of Spidey Pop figures already available that you can make your own Liberty Island tableau with.
Just remember... with great power comes great responsibility — and great Funko Pops.
Funko's Pop Marvel: Spider-Man: No Way Home — Lady Liberty with Shield figure will be available at New York Comic Con and on Amazon Oct. 6-9.
