New 'Sopranos' features and deleted scenes available on Max. Don't fuhgeddaboudit!
It’s been 25 years since we were introduced to “The Sopranos.”
Now, 25 years later, we’ve seen every episode. We’ve heard every quip by every gangster. We’ve seen a lot. People getting whacked, backdoor deals, betrayals and all of the other things that go along with being in a North Jersey family.
Now, we can see a little bit more.
While there are no more episodes being written or sequels in the works, HBO has released some never-before-seen deleted scenes from the show in honor of the 25th anniversary.
And while we probably surmised what happened, it fills in some gaps that we didn’t see during the original airing.

Among the 15 clips, we see why Sal Bonpensiero became “a rat” and decided to work with the federal government.

All of your favorite characters, including Tony Soprano visiting Dr. Melfie’s office, and a scene with Livia Soprano getting a visit from her daughter Janice, in the hospital.
HBO on Demand and Max also have behind-the-scenes clips from when the show was being filmed, as well as a nice little 46-minute feature where the cast talks about how the show changed the landscape of television.
While it’s not the real thing, it’s a great way to get a fix of “this thing of ours.”
