“Snow White” Trailer: Gal Gadot's Evil Queen Targets a Singing Rachel Zegler in First Footage

Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot star in 'Snow White,' in theaters March 21, 2025

The first footage from Disney's live-action Snow White is here.

At D23 on Aug. 9, the first teaser trailer for the movie musical debuted, revamping the 1937 classic. "Disney invites you to return to the story that started it all," Walt Disney Studios teased on Instagram, adding a red apple emoji.

The Marc Webb–directed movie wrapped filming in July 2022. The new adaptation stars Rachel Zegler as the iconic titular character and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.

Like the original, the upcoming project also includes the characters of Dopey, Grumpy, Sneezy, Bashful, Happy, Sleepy and Doc.

The film, which promises to "expand" upon the original story, features original songs from the Oscar-winning and Tony-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and was produced by Marc Platt.

"For me it was making sure the Queen is not just evil for the sake of being evil. There is a complexity. Between the two characters, it's like a mother-daughter relationship in a weird way," she added. "It's what happens to a woman when she feels like she's not relevant anymore, what can come out of her."

The Wonder Woman star also recalled her experience working with Zegler.
