Snoop Dogg Gifts Daughter Cori With $1 Million For Wedding
Snoop Dogg revealed the most expensive gift he has ever given and the recipient is no surprise. Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the California rapper detailed the 7-figure present given to his daughter Cori Broadus who joined him on Monday’s episode (Dec. 2).
You know what? It’s the truth, but the only thing about this gift is she never got to open it or she hasn’t opened it yet,” Snoop explained. “It was a million dollars for her wedding.”
He continued to detail “I told her if it was me, my wedding would have been $100 and $900 would have gone in my pocket,” with the host responding, “Daddy is still teaching lessons, I’ll tell you that!”
Cori and her longtime boyfriend Wayne Deuce Cori were engaged in November 2022, sharing the news on social media with a sentimental video. “The easiest YES ever @waynedeuce I love you so much and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you [kiss face emoji],” she wrote in the now-deleted upload.
According to PEOPLE, the million-dollar gift might not have been used yet due to the wedding plans being delayed after Cori experienced a medical emergency at the top of the year. In January, the 25-year-old revealed she “had a severe stroke.” She has also been open about her battle with Lupus, which she was diagnosed with at a young age.
Still, the wedding journey is set to be documented and shared with fans in the new E! docuseries Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story, set to debut on Thursday (IDec. 5). Check out a preview below.
