SNL50: The Anniversary Special: The 50+ Guests Confirmed to Appear
Live from New York, it’s… Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary extravaganza.
NBC has announced which former cast members will appear as part of SNL50: The Anniversary Special. Airing Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8/7c, the three-hour primetime event — TVLine will be live-blogging it here — will feature original Not Ready for Primetime Players Chevy Chase, Garrett Morris, Jane Curtin and Laraine Newman, as well as Adam Sandler, Amy Poehler, Ana Gasteyer, Andy Samberg, Billy Crystal, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Fred Armisen, Jason Sudeikis, Jimmy Fallon, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Maya Rudolph, Mike Myers, Molly Shannon, Pete Davidson, Rachel Dratch, Seth Meyers, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Will Ferrell and Will Forte.

Former hosts and musical guests confirmed to participate include Adam Driver, Alec Baldwin, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Cher, Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Kim Kardashian, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Martin Short, Miles Teller, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning, Quinta Brunson, Rev. Al Sharpton, Robert De Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Woody Harrelson.
A red carpet special, hosted by Jones, Willie Geist and Matt Rogers, will air at 7 pm across NBC, E! and Peacock.
SNL50: The Anniversary Special will be preceded by SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, streaming live from Radio City Music Hall on Friday, Feb. 14 at 8/7c — exclusively on Peacock. The Fallon-emceed spectacle will feature performances by Arcade Fire, Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Chris Martin, David Byrne, DEVO, Eddie Vedder, Jack White, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons, Post Malone, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robyn, The B-52s and The Roots.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Feb. 15, NBC will air the Oct. 11, 1975 premiere of SNL — with host George Carlin, musical guests Billy Preston and Janis Ian, an appearance by comedian Andy Kaufman and a sketch from Muppets creator Jim Henson — at 11:30 pm.
In the lead-up to anniversary weekend, Peacock previously released SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night, a four-part docuseries honoring the legacy of SNL, with over 60 contributors covering decades of SNL history. Additionally, NBC aired the Questlove documentary Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music, featuring untold stories behind the culture-defining, groundbreaking and news-making musical performances of the past five decades; an uncensored version currently streams on Peacock, and an encore presentation will air Feb. 15 at 8 pm on NBC.
