‘Smoke on the Mountain’ promises to bring gospel music, quirky characters to Atmore theater
ATMORE, Ala. (WKRG) — A performance full of quirky characters and bluegrass and gospel classics is set to take the stage at the Strand Theater in Atmore as the Greater Escambia Council for the Arts announced “Smoke on the Mountain.”

According to a theater news release, three performances of the show tell the story of Saturday Night Gospel Sing at a country church. The performances are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 15, through Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Strand Theater.

The performances, directed by Jerry Janes, promise a mix of comedy, drama, and music, according to the release.
Those interested in watching the performance can purchase tickets at the Greater Escambia Council for the Arts website. Tickets are priced at $15.
