As the 2022-23 TV season slowly marches toward its end, TVLine takes fresh stock of broadcast-TV’s freshman class performance-to-date — including the handful of shows still awaiting renewal. (Updated May 17)
Among the Fall 2022 entries, CBS’ East New York and NBC’s Quantum Leap shared the title of the highest-rated series launch; CBS’ Fire Country, meanwhile, delivered the largest audience for any freshman debut. Of those three, only East New York still is in limbo.
