Sheer styles have been popular on red carpets in recent years, with stars trying out the trend at the Coachella, Cannes Film Festival and more high-profile events.

At Sports Illustrated’s 2024 Swimsuit Issue launch party in New York on Thursday, attendees including Brittany Mahomes, Molly Sims and Kamie Crawford embraced see-through fabrics, adding bold touches to their dresses, including sparkles, metallics and florals.
