Sex and the City Seasons 1-6 Heading to Netflix this Spring

According to Variety, Warner Bros. and Netflix have partnered up for a brand new licensing deal for the U.S. streaming rights to Sex and the City Seasons 1-6.

The iconic comedy-drama is scheduled to arrive on Netflix this spring in April. The deal doesn’t include the two Sex and the City movies and the And Just Like That… series. This comes after Warner Bros. licensed several of their hit HBO originals to Netflix last year, including Band of Brothers, Ballers, Insecure and True Blood.

The Sex and the City Story Continues in And Just Like That…

After Sex and the City had wrapped up its six-season run in 2004, series vets Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis returned for Max’ spin-off sequel And Just Like That, which has already been renewed for a third season. The series is written, directed, and executive produced by Michael Patrick King. Executive producers are Parker, Davis, Nixon, Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky, and John Melfi.

“The new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series follows Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s,” reads the logline.
