‘Severance’ Season 2 Trailer: Adam Scott Attempts to Spring His ‘Outtie’ Wife from the Inside
Apple TV+ has finally released the trailer for “Severance” Season 2, and we are so in(nie).
In “Severance,” Adam Scott’s Mark Scout (“Mark S.” at work) leads a team at Lumon Industries, where employees have undergone an elective — but controversial — surgery that divides their memories between their work and personal lives. Basically, the Work You (your “Innie”) never exists outside of the office, and your home half (“Outtie”) never knows work. It’s kind of cool for the latter but an absolute torturous existence for the former. The series itself is top notch.

Toward the end of Season 1, Mark and his three close colleagues (played by Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, and John Turturro) make some monumental discoveries about what may really being going on inside Lumon HQ. In Season 2, the coworkers “learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe,” per Apple TV+.
Per the Apple SVOD service’s trailer, it’s gonna be a doozy for the Macrodata refinement team: Mr. Milchick (Tramell Tillman) looks pissed.

The first season of “Severance” received 14 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (Stiller), Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (Scott) and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series. It won Emmys for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series and Outstanding Main Title Design.
Season 2 consists of 10 episodes; the premiere episode streams globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, January 17, 2025. Subsequent Season 2 episodes will roll out one by one every Friday through March 21.
