‘Severance’ Is Getting the Podcast Treatment, Hosted by Ben Stiller and Adam Scott
Still trying to figure out what “Severance” was all about? Worried that you won’t keep up once Season 2 finally starts in the new year? Have no fear because, as with many popular shows of this era, the hit Apple TV+ sci-fi series is getting its own companion podcast.
“The Severance Podcast with Ben Stiller and Adam Scott” will dive into all the crazy reveals and dangling plotlines, providing in-depth examination and personal background from the director and star of the show themselves. The podcast launches January 7 with two episodes and will release new episodes every week day covering Season 1 of “Severance” until January 16. Once Season 2 premieres on Apple TV+ on January 17, new episodes will be released weekly on Fridays.

In a joint statement, Stiller and Scott said: “We have severed ourselves from the world for five years making this show. While we have no memory of what happened during that time, we thought we should do a podcast for all the Innies who will have no recollection of watching, in an attempt to reintegrate them with their memory of the show. We’re happy not to be working with Lumon Industries on this podcast and instead to be bringing it to the world with Audacy Podcasts, who would never send us to the break room.”
Stiller’s Red Hour and Scott’s Great Scott partnered with Audacy’s Pineapple Street Studios, the group behind companion podcasts for “Succession,” “The Last of Us,” “Chernobyl,” “Hacks,” “House of the Dragon,” “Foundation” and “The Rings of Power,” to produce the series.

“Severance” creator Dan Erickson, executive producer Jackie Cohn, and stars Britt Lower (Helly), Zach Cherry (Dylan), and John Turturro (Irving) will all serve as guests on the podcast, in addition to celebrity superfans like “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart.
Season 2 of “Severance” premieres on Apple TV+ January 17.
