Selma Blair Goes Glam in Embellished Crosshatch Pumps for Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2025
Selma Blair showed up to the red carpet for the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Academy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles with her beloved service dog Scout. Her footwear pick was a pair of sheer black pointed-toe pumps with an embellished crosshatch pattern.
Blair also wore a sleeveless sparkling black gown with white daisy adornments along her bust. She wore her hair in a blond bob and accessorized with a diamond necklace, bracelet and rings.

The “Legally Blonde” actress is a fan of the pump style. At Elle’s 2024 Women in Hollywood Celebration in November, she wore D’Orsay slingback pumps from Betsey Johnson. The shoes had an opaque shiny black cap toe and a lower mesh portion with a diamond-shaped lattice embellishment.
At the 2022 Academy Museum gala, she wore black suede Roger Vivier’s I Love Vivier pumps with a heart-shaped tapered pointed-toe.
Other celebrities who wore pumps to the 2025 Oscar red carpet include Best Actress winner Mikey Madison, who wore black Manolo Blahnik pumps with a low-cut vamp, and Gayle King, who wore silver sparkling pumps under her shimmering seafoam gown.
Blair has incorporated her love for fashion into her work as a disability activist, after receiving a multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2018. In 2023, she partnered with designer Isaac Mizrahi and QVC to create an accessible clothing line.
The 2025 Oscars, officially known as the 97th Academy Awards, are set to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday. The ceremony will honor movies released in 2024. Conan O’Brian will host the event that will celebrate films like “Wicked,” “The Substance,” “The Brutalist, “A Complete Unknown,” “Emilia Perez” and more. Notable nominees for acting categories include Zoe Salda?a, Ariana Grande, Demi Moore, Colman Domingo and more.
