The couple, who welcomed son Theodore (aka Teddy) last September, are sharing photos of the nursery in their Newport home exclusively with PEOPLE.
The Helous bought their new home while Tiffany was about six months pregnant. She designed the nursery space all on her own.

Gio and Tiffany Helou's home nursery, designed by Tiffany"My overall theme for the nursery was calming and coastal," Tiffany, who has a certificate in Interior Design, explains. "Knowing I wanted a focal accent wall, I started by selecting the palm leaf wallpaper and then used that as inspiration for the rest of the space. The other three walls we painted in Behr’s Blank Canvas. It’s the perfect warm white. I kept the large furniture pieces all in a neutral color scheme and added pops of blues and greens with smaller pieces like the ottoman, crib sheets and handmade ocean theme mobile."
The Helous are excited to move Teddy into his nursery soon.

The realtor turned reality star admits becoming a first-time father was scary.
"Before we had him, I was scared I was not going to connect with this new human that we're bringing into the world. And I was blown away with how much he and I have this bond," he admits. "I can't wait to get and spend time with him after work. It's a struggle to go into work because I don't want to say goodbye to him."

"We're learning as we go. We're making mistakes, obviously, and sleeping is nonexistent, but overall, it's amazing," he says.
One thing Gio has learned to let go of is having his home look just like the picture-perfect properties he lists.
"Up until we had Teddy, like our house was immaculate. It felt like living in a magazine spread. I've had to let all that go. Because with baby comes mess, comes toys all over the place. And it's funny because I I love it. I'm truly not missing that part of our life where everything was spotless. And so the sleep and the mess, those are things you got to learn right away when you're raising a human," he says.
As for expanding their family, Gio says it's "definitely" in the future.
"Now that we've broken that ice, I want at least one, hopefully, two more," he says. "Growing up I always wanted a brother. I have two sisters that I was in the middle of. I want a girl but I'd love for him to have a brother."
